Hawaii 2023!

Around September 2022, Justin told the girls, privately, that he wanted to take me to Hawaii for our anniversary. Not being privy to this plan, I announced in the days leading up to January 2023 that we were going to make a concerted effort to pay off our student loans, which meant minimal birthdays and minimal other celebrations. This, of course, meant no big celebration even for a twentieth anniversary, but, really, what's more romantic than seeing a great big "$0" next to "Amount Due" on your student loan statement?

Enter the Lord, by way of Elder Clark Gilbert. He asked Justin if he would travel to Hawaii and deliver the devotional address, all expenses paid, of course. So we splurged a little and bought a plane ticket for me so I could sit in the passenger seat of his already-paid-for car and take the other dresser in his already-paid-for hotel room. 

Hawaii is truly paradise! Excited to go again!
