August 2023

A trampoline park in South Jordan for a cousin's birthday party was a really fun part of August.

Falconing with Justin's friend and fomer fellow high council member was, too. The evening turned bloody, though. I had invited a friend from high school and current science teacher at Katharine's school to join us for FHE with the falcons and his family. He has been a bird lover since forever. Their kids and our kids were running around like crazy people in the basement when we heard screaming from downstairs. Sometimes that means true danger, sometimes it doesn't. This time it meant that Gabriel had tripped and fallen onto the hearth, knocking both his front teeth back into the roof of his mouth and gushing blood like his jugular had been rerouted into his mouth. I had actually been in this exact situation before and so knew to pull his teeth back forward into place. Long story short, x-rays the next morning revealed that no damage had been done to his bones, and normal color teeth reveal not even damage to the nerves! What a blessing!

First day of school pictures!
Attending Joshua's play at the Hale, Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Very well done!

Cutest Kindergartner ever!
