The yeast that appeared on the cultures from last Friday appears to have been a false alarm--the cultures and stains taken after Eli's operation on Saturday have all been negative. Eli was discharged at about 6 p.m. ET this evening. We've all managed to stay pretty upbeat throughout this third hospital stint, but we're still as glad as ever to be home. To sweeten the deal still further, our Relief Society president, Sister Joyce Thomas, supplied us with a hearty homecoming feast (though she didn't know tonight was to be a homecoming), complete with some of the best mushrooms and garbanzo beans this old planet has ever hosted. Thanks to all who prayed for Eli's speedy homecoming and thanks be to God who answered those prayers, and from whom all blessings flow.
