One month old!

Gabriel has survived a month in mortality. He almost made it through the month with no incident; today, though, I caught a certain over-inquisitive big sister with her finger almost in the middle of his retina. We're hoping that her surprise at my surprise ensures no repeats of that little operation.
Gwyn arranged for a four generation picture.
Abdiel's gaggle of boy cousins are down in St. George. He spent a morning this week FaceTiming with them and snapped this screenshot. Swapping Lego and Dinosaur stories and showing off his latest creations left him a very happy boy.

Our other two boys were exhausted ones. Truth be told, Gabriel and Justin seem never to stop being exhausted, though one of them plows through a little more heartily than the other.
Do we have a picture of the whole crew yet? My wonderful Grandma JoAnn double-presented us this year. We figured it was because Gabriel didn't get in on the goods the first time around. We were all so grateful, and it was a fun way to really celebrate Gabriel's one month day!

On Saturday, Justin took Julia and Abdiel to a BYU hockey game. When Abdiel decided it was time to leave for the game, he entered Justin's office and found him typing an email. "Oh," Abdiel said. "Is this going to be a long message? If it is, then you should try to use shorter words. Maybe a lot of contractions." He was obviously eager to get going!
