A Rocky Love Life

Gwyn and Abdiel play a reading-skills game on assignment from school called Lexia. Elinor loves to sit in the passenger seat while they do it. She has added "Yexia!" to her list of happy things, alongside such things as "Bah!" (a bath); "Daddy!"; "Moo-mee!" (movie); "Tah-tah!" (graham cracker); "Wah-dee!" (water). All these things we love.

Anyway, Elinor was calling for Lexia but Gwyn and Abdiel were nowhere to be found. So Julia offered to play Starfall with her instead. They had just delved into the mysteries of the letter M when Gwyndelin appeared, harumphing.

"Hey, Gwyn! We're doing the letter M! You love the letter M, don't you?" Julia inquired encouragingly.

"We. Broke. Up," responded Gwyn.
