Culinary Victories

Katharine has become quite the little baker during this quarantine. She whips up brownies, cookies, bread, and muffins with impressive facility. She has even mastered pies. In fact, the other day, as we were enjoying her latest apple rendition, Gwyn was overcome with admiration.

"Katharine," she said, chewing with great enjoyment, "this apple pie is so good, I put my school picture next to yours."

Wow!

Elinor is also performing culinary feats. Today at lunch she meticulously stripped her corn dog of as much of its corn covering as she could manage, held up the naked dog triumphantly and exclaimed, "Puh-fect!" And of course repeated the action at intervals after the reaction she got from her delighted family. :)
