End of Trimester 2 and other things

Another good thing about being home: constant access to the internet, and thus easier uploads of our pictures! Since the element of Collings' life our readers have most missed had to be not seeing week-by-week shots of growing Katherine, here's the latest photo:

Justin and I celebrated NASA's 50th birthday by consuming the Space Ice Cream Bianca Santos very thoughtfully brought to me when I was ill a few weeks ago. Not bad, not bad at all. (The ice cream, not the pictures. Those are pretty bad if I do say so myself.)

Our next exhibit features my saving grace of the summer, who happens to have an unlucky streak of identity theft among her family, so she shall remain nameless. We are SOOOOOOOOO glad they were doing an internship this summer as well, and hope they made it home safe to Zimbabwe! (wink, wink)

Our pool friends. We invited them to go to the Washington D.C. Temple Visitor's Center with us since they'd never been though they have of course seen "the castle" from the Beltway. Their almost-5-year-old LOVED the Christus, requesting no fewer than seven different poses with it and multiple shots.
That's all! Though I put up a few pics in their proper places, so if you've been to our house in the last few weeks and want to see your lovely face, scroll on down!

Glad to hear you made it home and that your Visitor Center trip went well. We miss you guys already - as evidenced by the constant chatter we hear about Julia.
