Let's play catch-up until the really big news of the Rome Temple Dedication. We have to combine a kid-friendly site with a famous site these days, so we paired the Medici Chapel with the Leonardo Da Vinci Museum. All granite lovers would swoon at the chapel. It was even more impressive than the Michelangelo designed sacristy in my opinion. The Leonardo Museum was awesome and highly recommended with a caveat to skip the wax museum portion exhibiting Leonardo's cadaver dissection projects. Very disgusting for this family of humanists.

On another outing we played at a fun, hidden park on Via Faentina. We were initiated into the marvels by some friends, whom Elinor thanked by having a major blow-out. They had to supply clothing since she had done the same thing the day before at San Marco and I had forgotten to restock the diaper bag. San Marco with its Fra Angelico rooms is highly recommended! Probably one of my favorite sites.
